McKennlie had a good night. They clamped her EVD (her drain for brain fluid) last night at seven. Her pressures were up and down for about 45 minutes, but leveled off and did great. She went down this morning for a CT scan. She did great and tolerated it very well. Which we were very grateful for because the last scans were way too eventful. She is still doing physical therapy and is still sleeping a lot. Her storming seems to have slowed which is great. They are weening her off the meds for the storming. Thank you again for all you are all doing. We love all of you!

This post makes me smile. So happy that McKennlie is doing well and continues to improve. Also reflecting on something our PT told us- TBI patients are like puppies. They need lots of love and lots of sleep. Her body is working so hard recovering that she deserves all of the sleep she can get! We will continue praying for good things for you all!

It's been so great to see the progress that your sweet girlie has been making. We're heading out of town for a few days, but we'll still be praying for McKennlie and your family. Hope things continue to go well and that McKennlie can be home with you soon.
