Day two of such a heart wrenching ordeal. McKennlie's brain swelling is continuing to worsen. The doctors have decided to put her in a medically induced coma in order to lessen brain activity and reduce the swelling. Right now we need a miracle, but Mckennlie has always been a miracle girl. The next 36-48 hours are extremely critical and all of your thoughts and prayers are much needed! Chris & Mel are strong and their faith will help in the healing of their sweet girl.

  1. My heart breaks for your sweet family as we just went through this with our son Ryan last month. I want to send my love and testify that our Heavenly Father does love us and is always with us. You and your family will receive strength you never knew you had. Miracles do happen eventhough it might not seem like it at the time. You are not alone in this and you will receive strength because of all the prayers for those who care about you. I have gained such a stronger testimony of the atonement through the loss of our son and I know that I will see him again someday. We do learn so much from our trials and I know you and your family can make it through this.

Your sweet daughter is in good hands at Primary Children's Hospital and you will find comfort in their loving care. We have grown close to many who cared for our son and keep in contact.

Again, you are not alone and you will be lifted and carried so you can get through this most difficult time.

Thank you for supporting us when we needed it and please allow us and others to help you. Hang in there and don't give up hope. Miracles do happen.

    Love,
    Catherine Lott and family

  2. Mel and family,

I pray that your sweet little McKennlie can stay strong and make a speedy and full recovery. I pray for strength and comfort for you all during this difficult time. Primary Children's is a special place and I truly believe there are angels there ministering to the children there. Trust in the Lord and lean on Him.

    Love and prayers,
    Brandi Stuart
